We'll be having a lunch picnic again and we are very fortunate to have my brothers and their friends helping us setting up the big tents and taking care of the food. Nothing fancy, burgers & hot dogs and the like. We spend all day there, going swimming after the walk and bouncing in the bouncers that are usually there at the event. It's a chance to spend some fun time together, catch up and simply relax under the sun. We would love to see you, even if you just want to drop by and say hello.

And to our mainland ohana, we wish you could join us on the day of the walk, but please don't let that stop you from joining our team. We would love Allyson's Fan Club to be a national team!

If you'd like to view the videos from the last 3 walks, click on the "Videos" tab on the top of this page. It's a trip to watch the last couple of minutes of each video where Ally is talking and see how her speech has developed each year. Ally's former occupational therapist retired last year, and she told me that out of all her years working with kids with Autism, no one has progressed so much and so quickly as Ally has! I shed some happy tears over that one!
